The Manager of Security, Environment, Health and Safety (SEHS) will provide the overall leadership, strategic guidance and professional expertise to lead the regional SEHS team and all SEHS initiatives in North- and Latin-America. The role is primarily responsible for the development, implementation, and management of programs to aid in security, environment, health and safety compliance with local, state, national, international and corporate regulations related to LEDVANCE operations in North- and Latin America. The Manager of Security, Environment, Health & Safety provides input and expertise into the development of strategies, policies and procedures for managing risks across the company.
The Manager will lead the development and ongoing management of appropriate metrics and reports, development of systems and data management to support the global SEHS programs, and efforts to improve the understanding of SEHS policies to all participants in the company. The position will be a direct report to the global Head of Security, Environment, Health and Safety.


  • Develop strong relationships with Regional top Management at the executive and plant management level, construct annual assessment and plans for the regions and locations and implement for: Security, Environment, Health and Safety topics.
  • Manage Americas Region regarding Security, Environmental Health and Safety topics and LEDVANCE SEHS Management systems for the following:
      • Remediation of current and future sites
      • Industrial environmental protection
      • Product related environmental protection
      • Dangerous goods
      • Business continuity management
      • Health, safety and radiation protection
      • Social Responsibility compliance
      • Property protection
      • Fire protection and –safety
      • Emergency preparedness and response
      • Investigations
  • Responsible for overall Regional SEHS Reporting
  • Implement and maintain full legal SEHS compliance for USC HQ
  • Responsible for Environmental Management System (ISO14001) compliance at all LEDVANCE AME sites on matrix certification.
    • Includes conducting and supporting Corporate, Internal and Third party audits.
  • Implement and maintain a business continuity management according to the LEDVANCE SEHS management system
  • Support local SEHS staff at site level
  • Assess the overall security and travel risks and opportunities and then develop and roll outplan
  • Establish and maintain a network within the Region Environment and Security agencies: FBI, homeland security EPA, OSHA, DEA, etc.
